Avaya, a global provider of communications networks and services for businesses, is set to launch the ‘Communications at the Heart of Business’ forum, which begins in Dubai next week. The forum, which is expected to draw in some 800 attendees from seven countries, will highlight Avaya best practices for migrating to IP telephony, and explore the future of contact centres, to help businesses in the region identify how communications can create a competitive advantage. Attendees at the forum will hear from Avaya about the latest advances in IP telephony and contact centre applications. Industry analyst, Silvio Navarro, an independent consultant and expert in contact centre strategies from the US, will also share his knowledge on how businesses can improve their customer satisfaction with IP solutions. In addition, Avaya executives will be available for one-on-one meetings to discuss specific requirements of attendees. The communications forum aims to provide businesses in the region with insight into the experiences of Avaya clients from all over the world. By sharing these lessons, the company hopes to help businesses in the Middle East understand the benefits that IP telephony and contact centre solutions can bring to their business. “Understanding how the right communications strategy can help employees become more productive, improve business processes and customer satisfaction levels is vital to any organisation in an increasingly competitive environment,” says Nidal Abou-Ltaif, managing director of Avaya in the Middle East and North Africa. The forum series, sponsored by Avaya’s regional value added distributor, Almasa Network Solutions, will tour not just the UAE, but also Kuwait, Bahrain, Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, and the provider’s various regional partners will sponsor individual events.
