HP has kicked off a 14 country pan-EMEA imaging and printing solutions tour targeted at channel partners. The first event, taking place today in Dubai, has pulled in partners from around the region for training, workshops, and demonstrations. The events are also being used to showcase SMB-focused solutions available from HP’s imaging and printing group (IPG). “We have kicked off the 2005 HP technology road show today in Dubai and are delighted to share knowledge, competitive selling practices and marketing techniques with our solutions partners,” commented Rania Hannoush, partner planning and rewards manager for HP’s Middle East solution partner organisation. “HP has a commitment to partners and customers to enhance customer value through innovation. Our new line of cutting-edge imaging and printing solutions, catered to the end-user speaks for itself. Our partners will also have the opportunity today to preview products to be launched in Spring-Summer 2005 at the HP IPG product fair,” she added. In total, HP’s road show will crisscross the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, calling in at 14 cities in total: Dubai, Madrid, Paris, Brussels, Utrecht, Birmingham, Moscow, Stockholm, Warsaw, Vienna, Milan, Athens, Istanbul and Johannesburg. HP predicts that more than 100 partners will attend each individual event. The tour will finish in July 2005.
