Arabian Business Machines touts Toshiba notebooks

Arabian Business Machines Company (ABM) is among the many businesses participating at Gitex Saudi Arabia 2005, to be held at the Riyadh Exhibition Centre from April 24-28. ABM, which specialises in merchant wholesale distribution of office equipment, will be using the event to showcase notebooks and projectors from Toshiba.

Arabian Business Machines Company (ABM) is among the many businesses participating at Gitex Saudi Arabia 2005, to be held at the Riyadh Exhibition Centre from April 24-28. ABM, which specialises in merchant wholesale distribution of office equipment, will be using the event to showcase notebooks and projectors from Toshiba. The company, based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has been preparing for the event for the past few months. This has involved both advertising as well as the development of presentations especially for Gitex Saudi Arabia. Even though this is not ABM’s first appearance at Gitex Saudi Arabia, the company’s employees are eagerly looking forward to the experience. “We are certainly excited,” says ABM’s Ibrahim Al-Aql. Although ABM is primarily using the event to showcase its office equipment, the company also deals in merchant wholesale distribution of general equipment, furniture, machinery, supplies and tools, among other things. Gitex is an occasion for all companies great and small to raise their profile and build brand awareness in both the KSA, and the wider Middle East, says Al-Aql. And, ABM is no different, viewing the forthcoming event as an opportunity not to be missed by either ABM or any other vendor looking to either break into or expand its presence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. “We are looking for an impressive projection of our company’s profile,” says Al-Aql, adding that the company aims to utilise the event to enhance their reputation for competence as a strong distributor of Toshiba products in KSA. However, the raising of ABM’s profile is not the sole aim. Like all the participants at the show this year, ABM is hoping for big sales at Gitex Saudi Arabia and is looking to lure a wide range of clients and customers at the event. It believes it has high quality Toshiba products and is confident of promoting them successfully. “We are looking to attract small and medium customers and clients from corporates, establishments and homes,” says Al-Aql.
