Fast-growing components distribution powerhouse eSys has unveiled a new partner loyalty programme for the Middle East and North Africa region. The new scheme, ePaL, offers a range of goodies for committed customers ranging from mobile phones through to giant plasma screens. “With the close of a successful first quarter of financial year 2005, we would like to thank our partners for their commitment to working together with eSys Technologies,” said Pavan Gupta, regional general manager at eSys. “eSys has grown by 78% in the regional markets in 2004, it is the result of efforts put in by loyal partners in the varied markets that make up this region. The new ePaL status will be official recognition of the special relation the partner shares with eSys,” he added. eSys’ loyalty programme provides partners with one reward point, credited to their ePaL account, for every US$10,000 of business. These points can be redeemed at the end of each quarter for rewards. At the end of each quarter, 10% of the points total will be carried forward into the next quarter as a loyalty bonus. eSys is setting a minimum qualification level for partners in terms of the sales achieved each quarter. This will be determined on a country-by-country basis ranging from as little as US$50,000 to as much as US$1.5m. If the minimum sales target is not achieved, 50% of the accumulated points will be carried forward into the next quarter. “The programme is a bit like a quarterly celebration by the eSys family,” adds Gupta. “There are rewards for everyone in the channel. For newer partners, who might need time to build their business up, there is, as always, personalised support in the shape of business packages that ensure high return on investment. Unlike most rewards for points programmes, this is an open-ended idea, with ePaL set to evolve in the future with inputs from the partners.” Points certainly mean prizes for successful ePaL partners with eSys lining up a stack of rewards for the second quarter of 2005. The prizes on offer include laptops, projectors, travel vouchers, mobile phones and even iPods.
