Symbol reveals ISV programme

Enterprise mobility vendor Symbol Technologies has unveiled an ISV partner programme designed to boost go-to-market relationships involving ISVs, solution and business partners and Symbol certified professional service providers worldwide.

Enterprise mobility vendor Symbol Technologies has unveiled an independent software vendor (ISV) partner programme designed to boost go-to-market relationships involving ISVs, solution and business partners and Symbol certified professional service providers worldwide. Symbol claims that the enhancement to its channel ecosystem will allow ISVs to forge mutually beneficial partnerships with Symbol’s sales force and channel partners, allowing the deployment of complete enterprise mobility solutions for customers. “Because of their deep industry and technology expertise, ISVs play a critical role in solving complex business problems and earn a coveted ‘trusted advisor’ status with customers,” explained Jan Burton, Symbol VP of worldwide channels. “We are investing in the ISV community, formalising and promoting ISV relationships because we recognise the high value-add and impact ISVs have in driving customer satisfaction and enterprise mobility solutions.” The Symbol PartnerSelect ISV partner programme is scheduled to go live on April 18th. The programme provides qualified software application developers with technical, sales and marketing enablement programmes designed to increase both sales and profitability. Symbol will provide solutions validation, development assistance and also allow qualified ISVs early access to new products to assist in application development, porting and migration. Symbol hopes that the new channel initiative will help ISVs develop and deploy repeatable, highly differentiated and competitive applications through the development of a channel ecosystem that connects them with Symbol’s internal resources and existing partners.
