Asset and service management software vendor Peregrine Systems has rolled out its latest global channel programme, PartnerEDGE, promising to accelerate solution deployment and improve ROI for both partners and customers. The vendor claims that its new programme will create ‘unparalleled commitment between Peregrine and its partners to deliver total solutions to global enterprises’. The new programme splits Peregrine partners into three distinct tiers: strategic partners, preferred partners and business partners. The PartnerEDGE programme aims to support the different requirements of each partner group, maximising the value that Peregrine provides to both partners and also end-users working with the channel. “We have teamed up with best-in-class technology and service providers to create innovative offerings that will help customers achieve a higher level of insight and automation around their IT infrastructure,” explained Russ Mann, Peregrine’s senior VP of strategic initiatives. “Our new PartnerEDGE programme is evidence of our commitment to their success.” Peregrine’s strategic partner classification covers partners such as IBM with extensive experience in the implementation of Peregrine solutions around the world, coupled with the expertise to assist customers in the creation of tailored solutions to manage their evolving IT infrastructure. Preferred partner status includes regional resellers and systems integrators capable of delivering Peregrine solutions alongside their own consulting and implementation services. Business partners offer specialised expertise and possess the ability to address specific market needs. Peregrine has invested substantial amounts into its new channel programme to offer partners enhanced sales and technical training as well as joint marketing and lead generation activities. Additional programme benefits include joint strategic business planning, technical certification and direct technical support. Peregrine’s current Middle East partner line-up includes Kuwait-based KBM as well as Saudi-based Moammar Information Systems.
