Examining the evolution of predictive enterprises – the next step after the real time enterprise – the company aims to help enterprises predict future trends by connecting information, people and processes from within as well as beyond. Senior vice president of worldwide marketing at Tibco, Ram Menon, says the company has built the ability to spot, analyse and act upon business processes in real time into its integration software. “The predictive enterprise provides better visibility within the company,” he says. The software also provides increased agility and efficiency in avoiding problems, anticipate customer needs and create new opportunities. Menon adds that today’s businesses have to respond to opportunities and build infrastructures that support constantly changing business requirements while utilising existing assets. Real time business has grown into a top priority for all companies – not only the large IT-centric firms. As global competition intensifies and the pace of business surges, companies are increasingly looking closer at their operations. The Tibco conference has also been of the benefit for local organisations. Amine Skiredi, CEO of MENA eSolutions – a regional e-business solution provider and sole representative of Tibco in the region – comments on the issues highlighted. “Through real world case studies, best practices and presentations by Tibco and customer experts, customers will improve their understanding of the company’s software and how to apply this knowledge to solve their business challenges.” Government institutions and business ranging from oil& gas; banking and telecommunications; realise the importance of an integrated system to allow them to collect and anlayse information efficiently, and then redistribute it to other departments with minimum time lag.
