German company Snackmaster has introduced its new range of potato products to the region. The company, which specialises in the production of potato rosti and gratini products, has added four unusual new flavours to its range of rosti pockets: tuna & grilled vegetable, cream cheese & bear’s garlic, curry-chicken & mango, and Chinese vegetable sweet & sour. “Snackmaster is a producer of deep-frozen premium-class potato-specialities made from the whole potato – no residues or stored parts at all. Therefore the smell and taste are uniquely potatoey,” says Hans Mehren, spokesman, Snackmaster. “Besides traditional German products like potato pancakes, we have innovative new products, such as rosti-pockets filled with various fillings, and a range of ‘Recipes of the world’, which are a variety of different rostis and gnocchi.” The company aims to repeat its domestic success overseas. “In Germany’s retail sector, Snackmaster’s rosti-pockets are the market leader,” Mehren says.
