Panduit opens office

Network and electrical solutions provider Panduit has expanded its EMEA operations to include the Middle East with the opening of a new office in Dubai Internet City.

The office has been established to enhance Panduit’s service to the Middle East region and will focus on supporting the enterprise, finance, education, healthcare and government sectors with leading edge communication and electrical technology. “A surge in construction projects and development in the region has fuelled demand for suppliers with local presence and knowledge,” says Chris Drage, business & technology development director for EMEA, Panduit. “With over 50 years of international experience, Panduit is now on-hand to offer its growing customer base in the Middle East local availability of over 50,000 products, technical support and the expertise of our global technology partners, such as Cisco and APC, in the fields of network, power and cabling infrastructure,” he explains. For 2005, Panduit aims to deliver a range of solutions to the Middle East. These include TX6 10GIG Copper Cabling System, a synergist combination of components for best-in-class performance; the DPoE Power Patch Panel, a simplified way to inject power into network infrastructure, Modular PanView, a complete end-to-end physical layer management system and entire network solutions for mission critical data centres. The Panduit EMEA headquarters in London supports a network of dedicated representatives throughout Europe, Middle East & Africa. The expansion into Dubai marks the company’s presence in 22 countries.
