Computer Associates (CA), one of the planet’s leading independent management software companies, announces the staging of CA World 2005, at the Venetian Las Vegas and Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas from November 13-17. The leading event focuses on collaboration, innovation and technology and will witness the largest annual global congregating of partners, customers, executives and IT leaders. Attendees will learn about the full range of CA’s management software solutions, plus broader industry and technology trends. Unparalleled networking and relationship building opportunities are also promised. CA vice-president and general manager for Arab nations, Gilbert Lacroix, is evidently excited about the upcoming event. “We are proud to host CA World 2005 because it gives us the opportunity to share CA’s wealth of technology, discuss our product development plans, collaborate with our partners and spend time with our customers and IT professionals from all over the globe including the Middle East,” he says. CA Arab world will extend invitations to its channel resellers and strategic customers, to attend the CA World convention and experience content-rich sessions covering CA solutions, key strategies and product demonstrations. “As the industry’s leading provider of solutions for enterprises to manage their systems, storage and security, we are looking forward to this opportunity to share our insights, as well as having our customers and partners network to share theirs,” states Lacroix. Ned Jaroudi, regional marketing director for CA in the Arab countries, adds his endorsement. “CA World has been revamped to better address the overall technology concerns and needs of participants,” he says, adding: “Over the past months we have been looking at CA World and the ways we can update it to make it more responsive to participant needs.” While the event will be a showcase for CA solutions, it will also have much greater partner participation, maintains the company. “We want participants to walk away with a clear idea of how technology can help businesses be more successful,” says Jaroudi.
