Kodak has launched a credit card-sized device that allows users to carry their cherished memories on the palm of their hands. Called Easyshare Picture Viewer, this pocket-sized digital photo album allows users to keep their favourite digital pictures by their side at all times. The device comes with enough memory to store up to 150 images and using its 2.5-inch colour display screen, users can view images stored on it. The device can also be synchronised with the computer using the bundled picture collection software called Kodak Easyshare software. “Pictures are personal and people like to have their memories documented. The Picture Viewer keeps these memories alive,” said Arif Khan, Kodak’s MENA area manager. The digital photo album also comes with a built-in SD/MMC memory card slot, that allows users to expand its built-in memory. Users can also choose between single view and slideshow viewing options by using its menu and four-way navigation buttons. Using the red "Share" button on the device, users can mark images for printing or e-mailing. The digital photo album can also be used with the Easyshare Printer Dock Series 3 or any printer with PictBridge technology for direct photo printing. The Picture Viewer runs on a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, which according to the company provides up to three hours of picture viewing time when fully charged.
