BenQ has launched four new products equipped with its proprietary viewing technology called Senseye. According to the company, Senseye technology allows users to define how they want to see images on their LCD monitor through four preset visual settings. The Movie 1 mode allows users to adjust the sharpness and colour saturation as viewed inside a theater, whereas the Movie 2 mode is for watching films or animations with brighter background. The Photo mode creates smooth images with brighter colours, while the Standard mode tones down the images, enabling the viewer to watch the screen with comfort for long periods of time, says the company. “In survey after survey, image quality ranks as one of the most important factors for consumers when purchasing an LCD monitor TV or projector. This prompted us to develop our own viewing technology," said Manish Bakshi, general manager, BenQ Middle East. The FP71E+ LCD monitor launched by BenQ comes with a 17-inch screen and includes an 8 ms response time. This LCD monitor is targeted at gamers and movie buffs. Another 17-inch LCD monitor - FP785, which made its debut during the Milan Fashion week, comes with a folding base for easy transport and a monitor mounting kit that allows users to either place the FP785 on a desk or hang it on the wall. For home DVD enthusiasts, there's FP71W - a 17-inch wide screen LCD monitor that comes with 800:1 contrast, 450 cd/m2 brightness and optional speaker system with SRS surround sound effect and a web camera. BenQ has also launched Senseye equipped digital projectors, such as the PE7700 and PE8720 that according to the company deliver enhanced colour, motion, contrast and clarity.
