Almasa launches ATI promotion

Distribution giant Almasa has lined up a sparkling reseller promotion to drive sales pf ATI-based graphics cards across the Middle East, Africa and CIS that could see resellers win up to 1kg of gold.

Distribution giant Almasa has lined up a sparkling reseller promotion to drive sales of ATI graphics cards across the Middle East, Africa and CIS. The offer, which runs until April 10th 2005, gives resellers the chance to earn points every time they purchase either Asus or Power Colour ATI chip-based cards from Almasa. And points mean prizes with the best-performing resellers in with a chance of winning up to 1kg of gold. Rauf Baig, managing director for ATI in the Middle East and Africa (MEA), said: “The region is seeing a mass wave of interest in gaming and we are very aware of how important it is to the consumers to always have up-to-date IT equipment in their homes. This promotion will give resellers the chance to offer consumers the best in IT equipment.” Ebrahim Kojouri, deputy managing director at Almasa IT Distribution, added: “With the school holidays fast approaching, now is the time when parents and children are looking to buy new computers and ATI cards to update their current PCs. Students are extremely passionate about computer gaming and are always looking for ways to improve their gaming experience.” “At Almasa IT Distribution we embrace our relationship with our resellers and enjoy finding new ways to motivate and encourage their sales,” he added. Almasa’s latest promotion is open to resellers across MEA and the CIS region. With distributors looking to differentiate themselves from rivals and build a sense of community with reseller partners, expect more and more promotions to take place during 2005.
