OmniBus appoints Phil Eade VP of channels and marketing for EMEA

Phillip Eade will be responsible for OmniBus' corporate marketing and for building sales channels and alliances within the Middle East and Africa.

OmniBus Systems has appointed Phillip Eade vice president of channels and marketing for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. He brings 15 years of experience in media and telecommunications sales and engineering to the new position, where he will be responsible for OmniBus' corporate marketing and for building sales channels and alliances within one of the company's fastest-growing markets. "Throughout his career, Phil has demonstrated a unique ability to build and maintain strong business relationships, most recently within EMEA markets," says Mike Oldham, CEO, OmniBus Systems. "With a wealth of knowledge ranging from technical understanding of the broadcasting industry to strategic planning and solution delivery, he is a skilled manager and team builder whom we feel will be a key contributor to the company's continued expansion in emerging broadcast markets. We're very pleased to welcome him to OmniBus." Prior to joining OmniBus, Eade was a senior manager for alliances and Eade started his career at Multipoint Communications, where he held the position of project manager and systems engineer and was responsible for leading technical and commercial solution teams that facilitated the sales and delivery of the company's new satellite communications products globally. He earned his bachelor's of science (with honors) in physics and electronic systems from Brunel University and his master's of business administration (with distinction) from the Kingston Business School in London.
