Gordon Ramsay comes to Dubai once again in March, and will grace the kitchens at Verre by Gordon Ramsay at the Hilton Dubai Creek. Ramsay will prepare a regular à la carte and prestige menu of some of his selected dishes for dinner on March 10 and 11 before hosting, and cooking, a six course gala dinner, on March 12. Ramsay will also be imparting his culinary knowledge to those students brave enough to attend his lunchtime Masterclass on March 11, when the chef will cook ‘simple summer food’ and prepare a selection of dishes. Following his visit, Verre will host a Vinum Veritas fine wine and dining evening on March 16. The event will celebrate Australian cuisine accompanied by a selection of fine wines from around the world. Experts will be on hand to guide diners through complementing the cuisine with the ideal wine. The Australian menu will include chilled cucumber soup with rock oyster, carpaccio of blue fin tuna and Australian sirloin of beef with rosti potato, confit shallot, roast garlic and red wine jus, followed by Ramsay’s Australian winter berry trifle with granny smith sherbet. The wines served will include a Donnelly River Sauvignon Blanc, Stonehedge Californian Chardonnay, Argentinean Alamos Cabernet Sauvignon and Californian Black Muscat Elysium.
