Aptec picks up Palit

Aptec Components has picked up GCC distribution rights for Taiwanese components vendor Palit’s range of Nvidia VGA products.

Aptec Components has picked up GCC distribution rights for Taiwanese components vendor Palit’s range of Nvidia VGA products. “Aptec Components has committed itself to providing the market with the best products and services available,” said Mario Veljovic, business unit manager at Aptec Components. “Palit Microsystems has excellent products at competitive price points, making it an affordable vendor for integrators and resellers to choose.” Debbie Yang, executive vice president at Palit, said: “Palit Microsystems has seen steady growth into a reputable PC graphics accelerator manufacturer across different regions and is confident of repeating this success in the Middle East.” “We are pleased to welcome Aptec into the Palit Microsystems fold to distribute a full range of VGA products in the UAE and wider GCC region. Aptec has the experience and necessary tools to help our products reach a wider channel in the region. It is a challenging region and I wish Aptec every success with the Palit VGA business,” she added. The distribution agreement covers all of Palit’s AGP and PCI-Express Nvidia-based VGA products. With its headquarters in Taiwan, Palit utilizes manufacturing facilities in China and has branch offices in both Germany and Hong Kong. Aptec Components plans to provide a top-notch post-sales service offering to Palit customers in the Middle East including online RMA support. Aptec Components aims to position itself as a one-stop-shop for the complete range of components required by PC assemblers and systems builders across the Middle East and Africa region.
