Minister launches Etihad Etisalat branding

After wining the second license for operating mobile phone services in Saudi Arabia, Etihad Etisalat in cooperation with its main partners, seeks to build a strong foundation for the telecommunications sector in the Kingdom.

Saudi minister of Telecommunications & Information Technology, His Excellency Mohamed Jameel Mulla, will later today reveal the official brand and corporate identity of Etihad Etisalat. This event will herald the crossing of an important milestone in the Kingdom’s telecommunications sector. According to the ministry, the development of a new brand and corporate identity by Etihad Etisalat is a key step in the series that will lead to offering the second mobile service to consumers in Saudi Arabia. “His excellency’s support strengthens the cause of Etihad Etisalat in the Kingdom and demonstrates the care taken by the Saudi Government in fostering a truly competitive market. This encourages us to offer various unique and innovative services that answer subscriber needs comprehensively and competitively,” says H. E. Mohamed Jameel Mulla. The brand and corporate identity will include Etihad Etisalat’s logo, the elements used in its design, the slogan, its meaning and relevance to local society. It aims to create mutually beneficial relationships with its subscribers, matching their aspirations and needs by offering unique services and advanced products. Etihad Etisalat’s operation in the Kingdom is in response to the aspirations of the Saudi Government, Communications and Information Technology Commission and private companies aiming to liberate the telecommunication sector, attract more investment and advanced technologies and improve the level of technical infrastructure in the Kingdom.
