Iletisim Teknoloji Danismanlik (ITD), a Turkey-based voice and payment systems solutions provider, has appointed Abu Dhabi-based IT-Serve as a value-adder reseller (VAR) in the UAE. With Etisalat opening up to the possibility of IP telephony in the UAE, ITD and IT-Serve hope that the resell agreement will lead to a flurry of new projects. ITD is master distributor for NASDAQ-quoted Interactive Intelligence’s software portfolio in the Middle East, Turkey, Romania and Poland. Interactive Intelligence develops Microsoft-based business communications solutions for contact centres, SMBs, distributed enterprises and mobile users. “We are extremely pleased to be partnering with IT-Serve and very confident that they will represent us in the market with the utmost professionalism for mutual success,” said Hatice Ayas, VP new business development at ITD. “With over 14 years of experience, ITD has emerged as one of the key solution providers in voice automation solutions and its alliance with IT-Serve in Abu Dhabi will position the company as a leader in the UAE voice systems sector. The market value for the IT services sector in the UAE is growing steadily and we are in a strong position to take advantage of the developing interest in voice systems solutions,” he added. IT-Serve will conduct front-end marketing activities and provide sales, technical support and maintenance for interactive intelligence solutions such as contact centre automation, IP telephony, voice over IP, customer self service and e-service automation and unified communications. “This is a key partnership intended to provide the UAE market with a unique value proposition and offer both the government and the private sector a strong voice-system solutions platform with rapid return-on-investment potential,” said Jens Lund, managing director at IT-Serve. “The partnership also comes at a time when interest in voice systems solutions is developing at a rapid pace.” “IT-Serve is strategically positioned to assist the public and private sector in developing sophisticated voice systems support technology that can add value, whilst creating positive returns,” he added. Interactive Intelligence sells its solutions through a global network of more than 140 VARs, including Datacraft, Deutsche Telekom, Hitachi, KPN Telecom, NEC Business Solutions, Phillips, SBC, and Unisys.
