Middle East distributor National Advanced Systems Company (NASCO) has announced that its revolutionary ultra-portable Flybook laptop PC is now being sold through a select band of UAE resellers and retailers including Axiom, RadioShack, Telefonica, CompuMe, Jacky’s, Alltronix, Kite Trading, Computer Care and Unitec. Offering a one-year GCC warranty, the Flybook offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPRS connectivity in a lightweight A5 size 1.1kg package. The Flybook is targeted at business travelers, executive users offering complete connectivity to voice and data networks. Dialogue Technology Corporation and Flydevices produce the Flybook. With stylus pen touch screen facility, 180 degrees rotation and a number of colour options, the Flybook offers the functionality of a tablet PC. “The range of Flybook options steers away from being dull and uniform while its spectrum of features keeps the user on the cutting edge of technology without compromising on style, quality or price,” explained Faris Al Sweerky, business development manager at NASCO. Based in Riyadh, NASCO has branch offices in Jeddah, Khobar, Dubai and Baghdad and represents a number of major vendors including Motorola, Nokia, NetGear, AnexTek, Fujitsu Siemens, Olivetti and OKI.
