eCompany partners with Microsoft

eCompany, Etisalat’s IT and internet solutions division, has struck an alliance with Microsoft to bolster its solutions and service portfolio as it looks to promote its skills in eGovernment installations across the region.

eCompany, Etisalat’s IT and internet solutions division, has struck an alliance with Microsoft to bolster its solutions and service portfolio as it looks to promote its skills in eGovernment installations across the region. Under the terms of the deal, eCompany and Microsoft plan to roll out integrated market specific solutions. Ahmad Abdulkarim Julfar, general manager at eCompany, said: “This landmark alliance between eCompany and Microsoft will be a winning one for our customers in enabling technology to be a key driver of growth in a cost effective manner. eCompany’s broad portfolio and unmatched service excellence will complement the visionary technology and leadership of a global player like Microsoft for the mutual benefit of our customers in government and private sectors.” Emre Berkin, regional chairman at Microsoft Middle East and Africa, commented: “The alliance between Microsoft and eCompany is a strategic partnership that asserts our commitment to our customers by working with recognized leaders in the IT industry. eCompany has established itself as a provider of outstanding services to both public and private sectors and we are looking forward to work together with eCompany to bring additional value to our customers in the region.” Microsoft will develop a comprehensive commercial licensing scheme for eCompany as part of the alliance. The two companies have also committed to develop joint workshops that will reach out to national governments around the region.
