Tul has launched three high-end graphics cards based upon ATI’s new Radeon X850 chipset. Tul’s premier offering is the PowerColor X850 XT Platinum Edition (PE), which offers demanding gamers super-quick core and memory clock speeds of up to 540 and 590MHz respectively, and up to 256MB of GDDR3 SDRAM memory. Tul claims this combination of high clock speeds and cutting edge memory results in the X850 XT PE surpassing the performance of any previous graphics processor. “Only PowerColor graphics boards deliver all of the super-charged performance of ATI’s most advanced VPU direct to your PC screen,” added Ted Chen, Tul Corporation's CEO. The PowerColor X850 XT PE supports PCI Express and offers plenty of output options thanks to its dual DVI and HDTV support. Along with 16 pixel pipelines architecture and 256-bit quad channel GDDR3 memory, the three new PowerColor cards bundle Cyberlink’s DVD Solution software package, which in turn includes PowerProducer 2.0 Golden DVD, PowerDirector 3.0 SE+, Power2Go, PowerDVD 5.0 and Medi@show 2.0 SE+. Three new PowerColor X850 cards will be available from the end of this month – the fastest XT PE version, the X850 XT and X850 Pro.
