DHL is to invest up to QR 10 million (US $2.75 million) in its Qatar operations in the next 15 months. According to the company’s Qatar country manager, Mark Jordan, the money will be invested in people, warehouse capacity, tracking technology and express service centres. ”Business has been relying more and more on logistics and supply chain solutions,” says Jordan. “To keep pace with demand, we need to invest and ensure that we remain the market leader.” The company has recently opened a 2,000 square metre logistics facility in the Salwa Industrial Area of Doha.
