IT hardware vendor BenQ has just completed a three-city roadshow in Saudi Arabia covering Riyadh, Jeddah and Khobar. More than 350 BenQ partners from across the Kingdom turned up to find out more about the vendor’s latest product offerings and business strategy. “This was the most comprehensive series of seminars we have ever conducted in Saudi Arabia, and the response from our partner network was very positive,” said Manish Bakshi, BenQ’s Middle East general manager. “Over the last year, Saudi Arabia has cemented its position as the key Middle East market for BenQ.” “Our network of partners across the country has helped us achieve this, and as part of our continued commitment to them and our customers, we plan to hold similar events on a regular basis,” he added. “There is a strong demand for BenQ technology from people across Saudi, and to stay ahead we need to ensure the people selling the products are kept informed on the latest developments,” said Mahmoud Barrawi, VP at Essam Arabian Projects & Metra Group, an established BenQ distribution partner in the Kingdom. The events were held in conjunction with BenQ distributors. Ayman H. Akel, general manager at Rodana Digital, BenQ’s projector distributor in the Kingdom, received an award in recognition of his efforts that have helped propel BenQ to the position of number two projector vendor in the country.
