Saudi Arabia-based Jeraisy Computer and Communication Services has come to Gitex to discuss future plans for regional expansion with strategic partners. “There are plans to expand out of Saudi Arabia and into the Gulf region. We are here to test the waters and to talk to partners about plans and strategy. Today’s globalisation [creates] an open market for everybody and therefore it is important to be here,” confirms Harbi Yousef, president and CEO for Jeraisy. Jeraisy offers a wide range of telecommunications solutions including PABX systems, call centres, voice mail and mobile radio, as well as carrier-class services such as fibre optical transport, switching and Next General Networks (NGN). “We are here because of the importance of this show. This is where the action is and we feel that since we are the largest IT company in the Middle East we should be here,” Yousef maintains. The Jeraisy stand is showcasing the company’s hardware and software products, with a focus on system integration and IT security. The Jeraisy Group provides total business solutions. Its Batelco-Jeraisy division provides a wide range of e-services, such as Internet access, web design and development in addition to hosting services. Jeraisy CardTec manufactures plastic cards for use in credit cards and access control systems in addition to smart cards.
