Software vendor ABM Knowledgeware is busy promoting its credentials as a software and services supplier to government customers at Gitex. In fact, the company defines itself as an eGovernance Solution Provider (eGSP) according to Pramod Sethi, general manager of ABM’s Middle East and Africa office located in Dubai. ABM has added 12 customers in the eGovernance, business collaboration and human resource management domains since its inception a year ago. Offering a combination of products, solutions and consulting services, ABM covers a range of specific customer needs including citizen-centric systems, municipalities and water billing systems, complaint management systems and file management systems. As well as working in the e-government sector, India-based ABM also has a range of products targeted at SMB customers including business collaboration tools, web portal solutions and human resource management software. ABM is expanding fast in the Middle East and Africa region and plans to continue adding products and partners to sustain its growth. To date, ABM has appointed partners in Tanzania, Kenya, Sudan, Oman, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. ABM plans to appoint partners in Kuwait, Bahrain, the UK and Brazil.
