CE-Infosys is displaying its two main product lines based on the company’s latest encryption technology. Appearing at its second Gitex, CE-Infosys now has a dedicated start-up company in Dubai to push its two product lines, CompuSec and IPCryptors, to customers in the region. Gitex is a vital piece of CE-Infosys’ Middle East marketing plan, offering a prime opportunity for the vendor to cultivate contacts in both the government and private sector. CompuSec is a security suite for desktop and notebook PCs providing access control, hard disk encryption, e-mail security, VPN, file encryption and single sign on. The IPCryptor encryption gateway family offers rich functionality allowing optimal network configurations with a minimum overhead. “We believe that the completeness of creative functions and extremely high security levels make the product so successful,” says Georg Krause, managing director at CE-Infosys. “For example, CompuSec has the fastest growing user base of all security suites worldwide with more than 500,000 new users registered in the last 12 months.” CE-Infosys released the latest version of its free PC security suite, CompuSec v4.17, at the end of July. The product is designed for corporate users and also for individuals with the free download version offering full functionality without limitations. Security hardware products such as e-Identity devices and biometric sign-on devices using fingerprint recognition technology complement CE-Infosys’ free software line-up.
