Fujitsu Siemens Computers has launched its SCALEO C “entertainment PC”. Designed to look like a classic HiFi system, the small form factor entertainment PC is outfitted to offer radio, CD and MP3 playback without needing to boot into the operating system. With 1GB of main memory and a large 200GB hard drive, Fujitsu Siemens has equipped the Scaleo C to handle a range of demanding tasks. To ensure maximum flexibility, Fujitsu Siemens has also equipped the Scaleo C with a number of connection interfaces to allow for connections to headphones, video cameras, digital cameras and more. Going further still, Fujitsu Siemens offers extras such as a TV tuner card. Connected to the company’s own MYRICA LCD TV, Fujitsu Siemens also claims the Scaleo C can turn into the ultimate home entertainment hub. “With the increased blurring of lines between the home and the work space, the consumer is demanding versatile PCs that consolidate various applications into one space-saving device,” Paul Gamboa, Manager Consumer Products at Fujitsu Siemens. “With the launch of the Scaleo C a one of its kind product, Fujitsu Siemens Computes has enhanced its Home Entertainment products portfolio. By consolidating the standard PC applications with radio, HiFi and much more, the Scaleo C provides an unparalleled return on investment for the end-user.”
