Epson is in the process of pulling together a comprehensive range of imaging solutions for display and demonstration at the forthcoming Gitex trade show. From its newly designed stand, the vendor intends to showcase its offerings for users ranging from large enterprises to small office/home office (SOHO) and home users. Epson will also use the region’s largest trade show to highlight its new ink technology, which has been designed to enrich printing quality. For example, the vendor will be demonstrating its DuraBrite inks that produce long-lasting prints on any type of media, including plain, glossy or recycled paper. “Gitex presents us a unique opportunity to assemble our core products to an audience that is positioned to make or influence buying decisions for their organisations. As it is a regional showcase for all IT solutions, Epson would like to showcase the best we have to offer in imaging solutions, including the inkjet range, photo printers, large format printers, scanners, mono lasers, colour lasers, dot matrix and projectors,” says Khalil El Dalu, general manager of Epson Middle East. “The Epson stand will be a microcosm of all the recent developments in imaging solutions. Visitors will see printers that deliver high-resolution photo printing without the need for a PC, or printers that produce high-resolution photos, personalise CDs and store images without a PC, as well as multifunction devices that combine printing, scanning and photocopying functions,” he adds.
