Focus Softnet is planning to showcase its academic and enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions at this year’s Gitex; its ninth appearance at the show. As well as other products, the IT solutions provider will be particularly focusing on its Focus RT ERP package. The application is designed to integrate all facets of a business, including planning, manufacturing, finance, sales, marketing and human resources, and combines the functionalities of SCM and CRM. Meanwhile, the provider will also be demonstrating its academic records management software, following recent implementations for ADNOC, the Emirates Institute of Banking & Finance, and the British University of Dubai. Focus Softnet sees Gitex as a strong platform from which to raise its profile in the Gulf. “Through Gitex, we can create awareness throughout the GCC,” says Ali Hyder, the provider’s executive vice president. “We can raise our profile not just in the UAE, but also in Saudi and there are a lot of visitors from Kuwait and Oman,” he adds.
