Microsoft Business Solutions (MBS) will be presenting its full range of applications to the thousands of people destined to visit this year’s Gitex. Designed to empower small, mid-market and corporate business customers by connecting people, processes and information, the software giant believes its Navision, Axapta, Solomon and Great Plains applications help end users improve business agility, increase business insight and run their business more efficiently. Available within the vendor’s quartet of business apps are a number of individual yet integrated offerings, including ERP applications, SCM solutions, CRM systems and analytics. Also on show this year is the vendor’s new CRM solution, Microsoft Business Portal, Microsoft Business Network and Microsoft Retail Management System. The next version of Microsoft’s SQL Server, codenamed ‘Yukon’, will also be present. Building on the strengths of SQL Server 2000, SQL Server Yukon is set to provide an integrated information management solution that deliver increased scalability, availability, and security to enterprises.
