Systimax Solutions will be showcasing its range of ultra-reliable, high-performance structured cabling solutions at this year’s Gitex, including some of the industry’s highest performing copper and fibre solutions for voice, data, video and building management applications. In addition, the network connectivity vendor plans to share details on some of the technologies that have been developed at its labs. Although details were vague at the time of going to press, the fact that the Systimax labs currently holds over 600 active patents and applications worldwide bodes well for visitors to the region’s largest IT trade show. “The market for structured cabling solutions is changing. We are no longer only talking to network designers but engineers, architects and consultants who are facing the challenge in addressing the Gulf region’s huge boom in high-tech business and residential developments and providing them with the infrastructure support that can meet the technology requirements of today and tomorrow,” says Martin Hennessey, sales director for Systimax Solutions in the Middle East, North Africa, Turkey & Greece. “Gitex will give us the opportunity to demonstrate how high-speed connectivity is becoming the fourth utility in the construction industry, alongside water, electricity and climate control systems.” Systimax Solutions has already been involved in some of the most ambitious developments taking place in the region, such as the Burj Al Arab, Madinat Jumeirah and DIC. The company will be showcasing many of these solutions on the DIC stand at the forthcoming show, and it is also flying in two experts.
