Tech Access, Sun Microsystems and Business Systems House (BSH), in association with Oracle are gearing up for a regional roadshow, which targets HR managers and IT decision-makers. The five-city road show, aimed at small-and-medium (SME) sized business in the region, will highlight the potential benefits of automating the essential internal HR processes including personnel, recruitment, budgeting and payroll functions; performance and career management; administrative functions and providing employees with self service options. Speakers at the event will review regional companies that have implemented BSH's “hr.eaZy”, a multilingual suite that runs on Oracle database and application servers and Sun’s Solaris servers. Based in Dubai Internet City, the 11-year old BSH claims to service more than 160,000 individuals using the vendor's HR and payroll software. “The HR and payroll software market is among the Middle East’s fastest-growing opportunities. Managers are under constant pressure to properly handle employees’ records, and cope with on-going changes in HR rules and regulations, while senior management is always seeking to develop skills and reward performance,” says Houssam Hatoum, managing director, BSH. As Sun’s channel development partner, Tech Access is facilitating testing of hr.eaZy at its iForce Center in Dubai, allowing customers to test the applications before investing in them. The road show will be held in Doha on 20 September, Bahrain on 21 September, Amman on 28 September, Beirut on 29 September and Muscat on 11 October.
