NetTest has announced that it has signed Access Communications Systems (ACS) as a distributor for its fiber optic test and measurement equipment in the Middle East Region. The company specialises in test and measurement solutions for global telecommunications networks. NetTest has pulled out commitment to providing customers with leading edge network test, monitoring, performance and fault management solutions and professionalism in sales and technical staff as major reasons for selecting ACS as regional distributor. NetTest’s relationship with ACS will be managed by Richard Dawson, NetTest’s new channel manager for the Middle East. “Our aim is to become recognised as one of the world’s leaders in test and measurement products in the Middle East,” says Dawson. “We’re already seeing demand from customers on the SDH, GigE ,PMD ,CD, OSA, Fibre Channel, and OTDR units, all of which fall into our CMA5000 products platform,” he adds. “NetTest is very pleased to have both Richard Dawson and Access Communications Systems join its efforts in the Middle East Region,” says Lars Pedersen, vice president and general manager, NetTest.
