eCompany ties up with Oman TradaNet

eCompany, Etisalat’s new e-business unit has tied up with Oman TradaNet (OTN) to offer its technology solutions and services portfolio to the Oman market. The two companies are targeting Omani governmental organisations, corporates and institutions that require IT services.

eCompany, Etisalat’s new e-business unit has tied up with Oman TradaNet (OTN) to offer its technology solutions and services portfolio to the Oman market. The two companies are targeting Omani governmental organisations, corporates and institutions that require IT services. Oman TradaNet will act in the capacity of an eCompany partner, responsible for the marketing of e-commerce and technology services such as portal development, web application development, software development, CRM/ ERP development, internet and IT consultancy and e-commerce development to Omani customers. “Oman TradaNet is an excellent addition to the growing portfolio of eCompany Solutions Partners in the region as can be seen from their unique strengths in the Oman market. Their iX2 portal provides a new dimension to delivering quality web based business solutions in Oman,” says Ahmed Abdul Karim Julfar, general manager, eCompany. The eCompany solutions partner program is based on a central commission structure, with revenues generated from cross-selling opportunities. “The synergy provided from both our solution development and business process specialists is is the most comprehensive and professional services available in the region,” says Andrew Stafford, chief executive officer of Oman TradaNet. OTN claims to be one of the largest trading communities in the region, with over 2000 organisations transacting more than 30,000 standard business documents a month through the company’s IX2 online business centre. The online B2B is an operating company of the Talal Al Zawawi Group, one of the Sultanate's diversified companies. eCompany was formed in late June this year, after merging UAE’s Emirates Internet and Multimedia (EIM) and Comtrust.
