Qatar Airways has secured a prime advertising spot after agreeing a deal with London football minnows, Brentford. The airline’s logo will be painted onto the roof of Brentford’s Griffin Park stadium, which is right under the flight path of London’s Heathrow Airport. 130 million people fly in and out of Heathrow each year. The three-year deal for what is touted as one of Europe’s biggest billboard cost the airline £400,000 (US $740,000). Brentford’s chairman Eddie Rogers said: "We have taken our time in finding a suitable partner for such a high profile sponsorship arrangement. This funding will enable the club to continue its recent financial turnaround and augers well for the future."
