EPSON larging it with Almoe

EPSON has extended its channel relationship with Almoe Trading and given the distributor UAE rights to resell its large format printers (LFPs) and colour laser printers. Almoe has been distributing EPSON multimedia projectors for the past five years.

EPSON has extended its channel relationship with Almoe Trading and given the distributor UAE rights to resell its large format printers (LFPs) and colour laser printers. Almoe has been distributing EPSON multimedia projectors for the past five years. Dubai-based Almoe Trading also operates a branch in Abu Dhabi. “The appointment of Almoe Trading as the distributor for EPSON’s large format printers and colour lasers is aimed at providing a further boost to our sales in these two segments, which have been growing at a rapid pace in the Middle East,” said Khalil El-Dalu, general manager at EPSON Middle East. “Our market studies show that both large format printers and colour lasers will witness a dramatic growth over the next few years, driven by a growing IT penetration across the region.” “Almoe Trading has demonstrated strong commitment and dedication to marketing our products. We are confident this appointment will further strengthen our strategy and increase our market share in these segments,” added El-Dalu. Tyronne Pires, managing partner at Almoe Trading, said: “EPSON’s projectors have become an integral part of the audio visual solutions we provide to our clients. By adding large format printers and colour lasers to our portfolio, we are in fact, adding value to our offering.” “Our commitment to EPSON’s products is reflected in our increased investment towards widening the dealer network. Bringing EPSON’s LFP range into its portfolio is a natural addition. Moving this type of IT kit through the channel involves much more than simple box-shifting and requires distributors with a genuine ability to value-add.
