Alcatel Egypt will move into new offices in a prime spot in the Smart Village. The company signed a 10-year rental contract with the Smart Village Company in 2002 and has now finished building the premises and will move in on June 20th, 2004. The 3 floor building is located in a prime spot of the Smart Village, with a total area of 7000 square meters. Alcatel’s entire divisions, including its International Service Center, Training Centers and Middle East Regional headquarters will be fully operational in the new location starting before the end of June 2004. Alcatel will also set up a reality centre at the new premises to support the development of innovative mobile multimedia services for GSM networks. The modern building is designed in line with the company’s global standards and is connected with the latest telecommunication solutions from Alcatel. The new spacious offices will bring all Alcatel’s Egypt teams together under one roof thus facilitating interaction with customers. This move confirms the importance of the Egyptian market to Alcatel and the confidence that Alcatel places in this ambitious project.
