HP pumps up ProCurve programme

HP has pumped up the level of benefits and value-added support on offer to Elite Partners selling its ProCurve networking products. The revamped programme includes improved sales and deployment tools, more training content and new delivery options.

HP has pumped up the level of benefits and value-added support on offer to Elite Partners selling its ProCurve Networking products. The global programme revamp includes improved sales and deployment tools, more training content, new delivery options as well as new specialization and certification programmes. Part of the programme revamp includes giving partners the option of reselling HP-branded ProCurve Networking services to end-users. Alternatively, partners can continue to use their own services capability or even combine both resources as part of a blended service delivery. “We recognise that ultimately ProCurve, our channel partners and our customers must work together in order to succeed. Our health depends on the success of our partners, and so we go the extra mile to provide them with tools to become more efficient and competitive,” commented Ivan Kraemer, Sales and Marketing Director, ProCurve Networking Business for Mediterranean, Middle East and Africa. “Unlike some of our competitors, who recognise only their own bottom line, ProCurve provides the best alternative for channel partners looking to add more value in a world of shrinking margins. Channel partners who invest in ProCurve are investing in the fastest-growing vendor in the market — and in a partner who is committed to their success as well as its own,” he added. HP’s ProCurve arm focuses on enterprise class networking kit including Ethernet switches, routing switches and network management applications. The ability to resell HP-branded services aims to increase the scope of offerings that a partner can supply to its customer base. ProCurve Elite Partners will also be able to qualify for sales and marketing support and exclusive financial incentives as part of the programme.
