Altitude flying high

Transcom has selected Altitude uCI 7 for its multimedia contact centre platform. The worldwide partnership sees Transcom deploy the Altitude solution in 40 centres, with 9,000 Agents across 21 countries.

Transcom has chosen Altitude uCI7 suite to power it contact centre solutions. "At Transcom, we are committed to continuously finding ways to add value for our customers. The decision to deploy Altitude uCI 7 solutions reflects Transcom's commitment to have consistently high standards across our service centres, while enhancing the management of our customer offerings and improving the quality of our service", commented Mr. Keith Russell, Transcom Worldwide's CEO. Mr. Gastão Taveira, Altitude Software's CEO, stressed the importance of the agreement: "As a leading independent global contact centre solutions vendor, Altitude Software has the resources, the global reach and the expertise necessary to partner with one of the major European players in the growing CRM outsourcing field". Altitude uCI 7 was rolled out in late 2003, is a suite of customer interaction management solutions that are designed to deliver a return on investment and improve operational effectiveness in contact centres while lowering total cost of ownership. Altitude Software enables Transcom to increase business process outsourcing (BPO) capabilities and service levels. Altitude Software gives Transcom substantial gains in terms of cost reduction and process efficiency by using a workflow solution directed at multimedia, multisite, next-generation customer contact centres, which are geared for effective outsourcing of key business processes.
