Acer Computers Middle East today sang the praises of its Collect and Drop scheme, claiming that as a result of this year-old scheme, customer satisfaction levels in the UAE are at an all time high. The company cited feedback from owners of its mobile products who have used the service to claim that over 90% of users were "very satisfied" with the support provided. "When the 'Collect and Drop' service was launched a year ago, Acer’s primary aim was to provide its mobile technology customers in the UAE with the highest level of support," said Krishna Murthy, general manager, Acer Computer (M.E.) Ltd. "Now one year later, we are thrilled to announce that Acer has positioned itself ahead of the competition in the market because it offers the highest level of service available in the market." The 'Collect and Drop' service offers Acer owners a means of getting problematic mobile products fixed without having to deliver them to a support location. Instead owners contact Acer’s call centre, provide their address details, and Acer arranges for TCS Express couriers to pick up their device, which is in turn fixed and delivered back to the customer’s home. The service applies to any Acer mobile products still under warranty. An option also exists to extend warranties for up to three years at a cost of up to Dhs 250.
