Xerox Emirates appoints new country manager

Xerox Emirates has appointed Andrew Hurt as its new General Manager for the UAE.

Xerox Emirates has appointed Andrew Hurt as its new General Manager for the UAE. Hurt will oversee the company’s operations across the UAE, delivering strategic council to its 165-strong team of employees and customers. Hurt has said he plans to expand the company’s operations to address the needs of all businesses in the Emirates and also to develop the company’s partnerships in the country. "I am delighted to have Andrew on board to steer the operations at Xerox Emirates," said Roy Harding, vice president & general manager of Xerox International Group – Distributor Operations. "I firmly believe that Andrew will bring a wealth of experience and knowledge that will be instrumental in achieving the company’s business goals, in addition to forging stronger alliances with our partners and customers." Xerox recently reported a 40% growth in its equipment sales and 20% growth specifically in the Middle East, India, Europe and Africa (MEIRA) region. "We aim to better our own record in the coming year with state-of-the-art product functionalities," said Harding at the company’s annual MEIRA Distributor Operations Conference in Dubai.
