Czech telecommunications manufacturer 2N Telekomunikace is at ITU Africa 2004 to meet potential distribution partners as it looks to break into the African telecommunications market. 2N Telekomunikace, which sells telecommunication products under the brand name ATEUS, believes its range of telecoms equipment is ideally suited for the African market, featuring a range of software and hardware solutions to reduce telecommunication costs. While the company has been trading in Europe for over a decade — dealing with GSM providers, multinationals, financial corporations, and exporting world wide — it is now looking to enter the African market. 2N Telekomunikace operates a value added partner programme, providing access to 2N’s whole range of products, marketing and sales support, as well as technical assistance. A range of 2N Telekomunikace telecommunication products are on display at ITU Africa 2004, including GSM gateways (fixed cellular terminals), private branch exchange (PBX) applications, telephone systems, and door and lift communicators. The star of the show is 2N Telekomunikace’s GSM gateway solutions, which is aimed at SMEs seeking to reduce phone costs. 2N Telekomunikace believes that with the proliferation of GSM networks in Africa, GSM solutions such as the VoIP-GSM Gateway and Multichannel analogue transit GSM Gateway are the ideal choice for customers in Africa aiming to cut their telecommunication expenditure.
