Nucoda makes first entry into India

India-based digital effects company Prasad EFX has purchased four Nucoda Film Master film finishing solutions to conform and finish a number of new Hindi movies.

India-based digital effects company Prasad EFX has deployed one Nucoda Film Master film finishing solution and ordered another three more to conform and finish a number of new Hindi movies. With this purchase, Nucoda makes its first entry into India. Prasad EFX anticipates several benefits through its use of the Film Masters including a more streamlined workflow with time and cost savings on digital intermediate projects. “We chose the Nucoda Film Masters because we liked being able to conform both the EDL and the keycode cutlist,” says Sai Prasad, CEO, Prasad EFX. “Being able to conform over the network is very impressive and fast, saving us a lot of time moving files around Film Master also has an excellent set of finishing tools and a user interface which makes working a pleasure.” Prasad will use Nucoda Film Master on all of its movies including Lakshya, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta.
