Air Arabia is laying on extra flights to Alexandria, Aleppo, Assiut and Damascus over the summer months. The Sharjah-based low-cost carrier says that the extra flights will help handle booming demand during the holiday season. “The popularity of certain routes and dates during this peak travel period has encouraged us to introduce 23 additional flights on our Alexandria, Aleppo, Assiut and Damascus routes,” says Ali Fairooz, Air Arabia’s sales & marketing director. “This latest addition offers customers greater convenience and flexibility when travelling during this period,” he adds. The carrier is adding 11 additional flights per week to Alexandria from 3rd June until August. Aleppo gets six extra flights over the same timeframe, with five more to Assiut and one additional flight to Damascus.
