Thuraya Tower to reach 30 storeys at Dubai Media City

The Dubai ReadyMix Group has awarded Dewan Al Emara Architects and Engineers, the design & supervision of a 30-storey tower in Dubai Media City. Part of the group’s real estate expansion plan, the tower will be located at the side entrance of Dubai Media City and will overlook the Dubai Marina. “Excavation and foundation work are already underway at the Dubai Media City site. The Thuraya Tower, will rise to 30-storeys and will be ready for commercial office occupation within 18 months,” said Mohammed Al Assam, founder and managing director of Dewan Al Emara. “Dubai is growing very fast. Architectural excellence in design and engineering are key to the future and integrity of the new Dubai. Dewan Architects & Engineers aims to deliver thoughtful, original and contemporary architecture that conveys a sense of humanism and purpose while fulfilling the functional requirements of the building. Our collaboration with the ReadyMix Group in designing the Thuraya Tower will contribute to the growth and aesthetic beauty of Dubai’s new skyline,” he added. For just under three decades, Dewan Architects & Engineers have created hundreds of designs in the UAE and the region.
