Ariss offers educational apps

Arabic software developer, Ariss Computer, has a heavy focus on learning at this year’s exhibition. Among the many products it is highlighting at the show is its Learn English software for children. The packages fit three different age groups, three to six years, six to nine years and nine to twelve years. Ariss will also plans to release an Arabic encyclopedia at the show. The three CD package specialises in the Arabic language and people, while also exploring the geography and history of the region. The company will also showcase software that is set to be incorporated into the Saudi school curriculum. Ariss also localises games for the Arabic market, with UbiSoft title Rayman 2 among its successes. The company also specialises in Islamic software and has put The Holy Qur’an on DVD. This features a complete recitation of the Holy Qur’an by a host of famous readers and a library of explanations. The software also comes with translations.
