Metropolitan Hotel announced on The Palm Jumeirah

The Al Habtoor Group, promoters of the regional Metropolitan hotel chain, will build a 250 suite beachfront five star property on the crescent of The Palm Jumeirah.

The Al Habtoor Group, promoters of the regional Metropolitan hotel chain, will build a 250 suite beachfront five star property on the crescent of The Palm Jumeirah, a palm-tree shaped island development off the coast of Dubai. Covering an area of approximately 500,000 square feet, the hotel will be part of the Metropolitan Hotels International chain. The Al Habtoor Group currently owns and operates seven hotels and a catering company under the management of Metropolitan Hotels International that will also manage the group’s property on The Palm. Discussing the design and concept for their hotel on The Palm, Jumeirah, Ahmed Khalaf Al Habtoor, said, “We’re currently in the process of finalising the concept and design which will be unprecedented in the region. We are working with a number of famous international architectural firms and are in the final selection phase. The hotel will feature a number of specialised restaurants as well as extensive leisure amenities.” The Al Habtoor Group is a UAE based business corporation operating in the Middle East and the UK in the construction, hospitality, real estate and insurance sectors.
