Amlaki and Dragon Shape announce merger

Amlaki, the real estate software developer has announced a merger with Dragon Shape, an internet-based company for facilities management to target the booming real estate market in the region.

Amlaki, the real estate software vendor has announced a merger with Dragon Shape, an internet-based company for facilities management to target the booming real estate market in the region. “This merger brings together over seven years of expertise specifically in the fields of real estate management with international exposure in Europe, the US, the Middle East, South East Asia and Australia,” says Jean-Paul Tarud-Kuborn, managing director and president of Dragon Shape. The 3-year old Dragon Shape, develops applications for the day-to-day operations, repair, maintenance and the various tenant services of a property. The concept originated in France with the intention of developing property management solutions with cultural specifications for the Middle East and Asia.Dragon Shape and Almaki estimate the market for such real estate solutions to be worth US$500 million. “Combining our product suite of specialised software solutions for facilities management with Amlaki’s existing real estate software solutions and services is set to produce a high rate of return on investment for users in the real estate industry,” adds Kuborn. Amlaki is a real estate services company targeting property owners, developers, management companies, the real estate services sector, tenants and buyers. “With the on-going explosion in real estate development in the region, our merger with Dragon Shape will present real estate developers, investors and management companies with a unique solution aimed at increasing their business effectiveness and reducing operating costs,” says Mohamed Mahfooz, CEO and vice chairman of Amlaki. Currently, Amlaki’s customers include the Jumeirah Beach Residence, Al-Yousuf Real Estate, Al-Serkal Real Estate, Al-Hathboor Group, Parklane Real Estate and Al-Moosa.
