RayaTech has announced the availability of iConnect.SMS, a personalised intelligent Short Messaging Services (SMS) solution. The solution is an advanced messaging platform for implementing mobile commerce strategies. It enables the integration of both personalised and directed SMS messaging with corporate information systems. Personalised messaging ensures that customers feel known by their service provider. Customer profiles and preferences contained in customer information databases enable the RayaTech solution to personalise the SMS communications. The solution boasts powerful Arabic support including personalised Arabic messaging capabilities and Arabic application interfaces. The SMS solution can be used across a range of applications from hospitals sending advance notification to patients of appointments, to the delivery of breaking news for news agencies, the range of applications across all sectors is extensive. Mohammad Khatib, general manager of RayaTech said, “The applications for this solution can be used by banks to inform customers of ATM withdrawals or notification of salary credits as well as customers using it to enquire about their account balances, fund transfers and so on. Airlines can notify customers of flight delays or cancellations. Customers can enquire about flight arrival or departure times by just sending the specific flight number as an SMS message and receiving the details back. The applications can also be used by investment houses providing up to the minute stock prices, car rental agencies to send automated messages containing numbers to call incase of emergency.”
