Connaissance selects Momentohs

Connaissance Holdings – publicly traded hotel group has chosen Momentohs, a Hotel Management System (HMS) developed by the Dubai-based Seven Seas Computers to automate the operations of their luxury hotels in Srilanka.

Connaissance Holdings – publicly traded hotel group has chosen Momentohs, a Hotel Management System (HMS) developed by the Dubai-based Seven Seas Computers to automate the operations of their luxury hotels in Srilanka. The application is a fully integrated Hotel Management System (HMS) capable of overseeing all the critical operations of a hotel and integrates the front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, event management, call billing & analysis, back office, and reservations modules into one central database. The hospitality industry software can be a integrated third-party device such as the EPABX and Windows based Point of Sale Systems (POS). As the first phase, the Culture Club Dambulla, Le Kandyan Kandy and Reef Comber Hotel Hikkaduwa will be connected to their head office in Colombo running Momentohs central reservations component and these individual hotels will be running select modules. In the second phase of implementation other hotels in the chain will be connected later in the year. “Our choice in selecting Momentohs was based on it's seamless integration and business intelligence that will facilitate in making informed decisions for the hotel,” says Nimal Perera, group director finance, Connaissance Holdings. Momentohs, the flagship product of 20-year old Dubai based Seven Seas was designed and developed at their Colombo software development centre in Srilanka. “We are delighted to be selected by Connaissance among stiff competition. This is our second major win, the other being the Residence Hotels and Resorts in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia,” says Mehboob Hamza, director - strategy & intellectual assets, Seven Seas.
